Child Support Enforcement

Every child deserves support from both parents.  This support includes both financial and emotional support.  Child Support enhances the well-being of children while promoting positive parental involvement and improving a family's self-sufficiency.

The Child Support Enforcement Agency offers many services which are available to the Non-Custodial Parent and the Custodial Parent.

Services Offered

Paternity Establishment       
Legal determination of the child’s biological father

Location
Locating absent parents in order to establish/enforce support orders

Establishment
Obtaining court orders for the payment of child support and medical insurance

Enforcement       
Using Administrative and Legal actions to enforce a court order

Review & Adjustment         
Modifying an existing child support order based on a change of circumstances since the last support order.

Collection                 
Collection of current and past due support through a variety of sources. If you have an existing Coshocton County Child Support Order, or if interested in establishing a new child support order (and you are a resident of Coshocton County), please contact the Child Support unit to discuss your situation. Qualifying services are provided FREE of charge.
